In short, the McCarty family is taking the opportunity to plant a church with the North American Mission Board and Colorado Baptists.  On August 6th we relocated to Grand Junction, to join God's mission, connect with our neighbors, our community, our city and establish a church that seeks the welfare of Grand Junction for the glory of God (Jer. 29:7).  We feel led by the Lord to go to a part of the US that is in need of a gospel-centered church and to a place where very few claim to know Christ.  More info about GJ...

We know we cannot do this alone! God has given us such a great blessing of a community of believers and you are part of that blessing!

How can you help?  Glad you asked! Here are 3 ways you can help:

1. Become a prayer partner! Commit to praying for our family, our church, and Grand Junction! We want to be covered in prayer by our great cloud of witnesses so we can faithfully "run this race" and lead in a Christ-like manner! We also know that God is already working in the hearts of many in Grand Junction.  We want prayer warriors to pray for those people as we know that the forces of darkness will most surely continue to attack. 2. Support us financially! Planting a church is a major endeavor.  In order to become fully sustainable we need people to partner with us through giving. If you feel led, there are two ways to donate:

3. Come with a mission team! Organize a team with your church or other group and come to serve Grand Junction! Contact Josh for more information on ways you can serve in the near future.  For some of you, you may prayerfully consider moving to Grand Junction to support the church plant in a very tangible way and come see what God is doing in Western Colorado!
